Instead, this is the portrait I painted for a friend and mentioned in a post a few months ago.
Well, I'm posting the photo now because I have finally come to terms with this painting. If you don't paint, then maybe you don't understand how it could take a year to be able to share your work, but it has.
Feedback is ok. Really... it's ok.

Me likie. I am not an art critic, but it's the best thing I've ever seen painted by someone I actually know.
Coming to terms is a great thing, no a necessary thing.
Differ judgement. That's what I have learned. It doesn't matter how good it is or isn't, that's not your job. Your job is to show up.
Keep your ass painting and speaking of ass, I think it's kick ass that you can write "commissioned" next to it.

Art is because it is done, not just thought about. Art is good because it elicits an emotional response. This is art. This is good art. So celebrate--you ARE an artist!
