Some of you may remember a post from late October that mentioned my worst day of teaching.
Ever.
I didn't educate poorly; I thought I taught 5th grade Math quite proficiently that day, actually. I even found out later that the other 5th grade teachers agreed and would have liked me to sub again. But none of that really matters when two students decide to throw down in your classroom.
And an investigation follows.
Well, I'm happy to say that as of today, 75 days later (ridiculous), the investigation is over and all is back to normal. Except that I refuse to sub in that school again.
Ever.

I had a kid that was so disruptive in Jr. High math I subbed. I took him outside and kind of laid down the law with him.
Fortunately, no one was in the hall when I did it and I continued to sub.
Glad you were cleared.

Well, I kept two kids from killing each other. I think that's why I was able to keep my job.
Well, as a seasoned Combat Veteran and Veteran of Foreign Wars you can rest assured that when two Girls decided to go Hammer and Tong outside my classroom I leaped into … ACTION. My students were amazed at how fast I closed my classroom door and got back into the lesson ... barely even broke rhythm I tell ya!!
